La maison des Goix est l'ancienne maison des procureurs de l'Isle-sur-Serein. Depuis sa construction dans le troisième quart du 15e siècle jusqu'à la Révolution, elle fut occupée par la même famille, puis vendue comme bien national en 1794. Les deux statues de pierre du 15e siècle sur le mur pignon de la rue n'ont disparu qu'au 19e siècle (Saint-Jacques en pèlerin et une Vierge à l'Enfant). La maison est constituée d'un corps de logis de deux pièces carrées par niveau, desservies par un escalier central en colimaçon contenu dans une tour polygonale couverte d'une poivrière.

History
The house of the Goix is the former house of the proctors of Isle-sur-Serein. From its construction in the third quarter of the 15th century until the Revolution, it was occupied by the same family, then sold as national property in 1794. The two 15th-century stone statues on the gable wall of the street disappeared only in the 19th century (Saint-Jacques as a pilgrim and a Virgin and Child). The house consists of a main dwelling of two square rooms per level, served by a central spiral staircase contained in a polygonal tower covered with a pepper-pot roof.
