History
Only turbine-driven sawmill in the region still in working order. Erected after 1817 on the site of a sawing yard from the early 17th century on the edge of the Petite-Meurthe, the sawmill was equipped with a turbine towards the end of the 19th century. It ceased regular operation in 1963 (it now serves only for demonstration). The turbine was remade in 1995 on the exact model of the original, without welding.
