Edifice consisting of a main dwelling, enlarged towards the west by a part forming a projecting section. Its rear façade is flanked by two circular towers. A machicolated corner turret interrupts the main façade facing a courtyard. To the east, a fixed bridge dominated by a classical gateway is dated 1757. One corner of the courtyard is occupied by a dovecote. On the main façade, the bay of the door is amplified by Renaissance-style decoration and bears the date 1549. No evidence of construction prior to the 16th century. The castle underwent some rearrangements in the second half of the 18th century, notably the updating of taste of a drawing room on the ground floor. The castle constitutes an example of a new residence built in forms still close to the end of the Middle Ages, but where the decoration and interior arrangements belong to the innovations of the Renaissance.
