Le manoir de la Motte est une oeuvre de la fin du 18ème siècle se substituant à l'hôtel noble de la Motte qui existait précédemment. La demeure est vendue à la Révolution comme bien d'émigré. Il s'agit d'un logis de taille modeste situé en fond de cour fermée par un portail et entourée de longs bâtiments de communs. Il présente une composition homogène, sur deux niveaux surmontée d'une toiture mansardée en ardoise éclairée par des lucarnes. History
The Manor of la Motte is a work of the late 18th century replacing the noble hôtel of la Motte which existed previously. The dwelling is sold at the Revolution as the property of an émigré. It is a dwelling of modest size located at the end of a closed courtyard bordered by a gate and surrounded by long outbuilding ranges. It presents a homogeneous composition, on two levels surmounted by a mansard roof in slate lit by dormers. The interior contains a monumental stone staircase and wrought-iron railing and salons covered in panelling. Its distribution, its comfort and the quality of its interior decoration contrast with the austerity of its external appearance.
