Historique
Le rez-de-chaussée était à usage commercial ou artisanal et les étages privés à caractère résidentiel. Si sur le cadastre de 1811 les deux parcelles étaient réunies en une seule, il s'agit pourtant bien de deux constructions distinctes. Les deux façades sont bien individualisées et un passage sépare les deux maisons. Six phases de construction se sont succédées, dont les plus importantes se situent entre 1477 et 1551. La première correspond à la construction de la maison au n°17. La seconde correspond à une réorganisation des étages avec la construction du mur de refend et du logis annexe. La troisième phase résulte de l'effondrement du mur goutterot oriental qui sera reconstruit en phase quatre, avec l'adjonction de l'escalier hors-oeuvre et le réaménagement des espaces intérieurs ainsi que la commande des décors peints à thèmes religieux antérieurs au 16e siècle. A une date antérieure à 1691, les deux maisons ont été séparées et les portes bouchées. La dernière phase concerne les travaux du 19e siècle. au n°17 sont conservés à l'étage noble des décors peints représentant Saint-Christophe, la lamentation sur le Christ mort et un soldat avec lance.

History
The ground floor was for commercial or craft use and the upper floors were for private residential purposes. Although on the 1811 cadastre the two plots were united into a single one, these are nonetheless two distinct constructions. The two façades are well individualized and a passage separates the two houses. Six construction phases succeeded one another, the most important of which took place between 1477 and 1551. The first corresponds to the construction of the building at no. 17. The second corresponds to a reorganization of the floors with the construction of the partition wall and the auxiliary dwelling. The third phase results from the collapse of the eastern gutter wall which was rebuilt in phase four, with the addition of the external staircase and the reorganization of interior spaces as well as the commissioning of painted decorations with religious themes prior to the 16th century. Prior to a date of 1691, the two houses were separated and the doors blocked. The last phase concerns the works of the 19th century. At no. 17 are preserved on the noble floor painted decorations representing Saint Christopher, the lamentation over the dead Christ and a soldier with a lance.
