En 1832, le vicomte de Marconnay fait élever cette chapelle pour y déposer les cendres de son épouse, décédée trois ans plus tôt. Le vicomte y repose à son tour en 1833. Le lieu a ensuite servi de sépulture familiale, la dernière datant de 1869. Le vicomte a fait don du prieuré pour qu'il serve d'habitation aux curés de Mazeuil qui devaient, en échange, entretenir le presbytère et célébrer une messe dans la chapelle chaque 29 juin, jour du décès de son épouse. Cette chapelle de plan rectangulaire se couvre d'une voûte en arc de cloître dans sa partie orientale, et d'une voûte en plein cintre à l'ouest. Elle est dotée d'une crypte où étaient déposées les sépultures. La façade occidentale s'ouvre par une porte à chambranle à crossettes, surmontée d'une corniche, elle-même couronnée d'une croix encadrée de volutes. History
In 1832, the viscount de Marconnay had this chapel built to deposit the ashes of his wife, who had died three years earlier. The viscount was laid to rest there in turn in 1833. The place subsequently served as a family burial ground, the last burial dating from 1869. The viscount donated the priory so that it would serve as a dwelling for the curates of Mazeuil who were, in exchange, to maintain the presbytery and celebrate a mass in the chapel each 29 June, the day of his wife's death. This chapel of rectangular plan is covered with a barrel vault in its eastern part, and a round arch vault to the west. It is fitted with a crypt where burials were deposited. The western façade opens through a door with chamfered dressings topped with a cornice, itself crowned by a cross framed by scrolls.
