La première tour fut construite en 1829 puis désaffectée et remplacée par une nouvelle construction en 1877. Il s'agit d'un ouvrage en maçonnerie de moellons en forme de tronc de pyramide quadrangulaire couronné par une murette de galerie en briques rouges et monté sur un soubassement carré en maçonnerie de pierres apparentes. A proximité se situe une tour cylindrique en pierres de taille, vestige du phare d'origine. Cette ancienne tour est surmontée de l'antenne de la radiobalise. History
The first tower was constructed in 1829 then decommissioned and replaced by a new construction in 1877. It is a masonry work of rubble stone in the form of a truncated quadrangular pyramid crowned by a red brick gallery wall and mounted on a square base of ashlar masonry. Nearby is located a cylindrical tower of ashlar stone, a vestige of the original lighthouse. This old tower is surmounted by the antenna of the radiobeacon. The whole is completed by service buildings painted white and covered with tiles.
