Ce phare est implanté à la pointe des Corbeaux, à l'extrémité sud-est de l'île d'Yeu-Vendée. Le premier phare, érigé en 1862, fut détruit par l'armée allemande en 1944 puis reconstruit, en 1950, par l'architecte Maurice Durand et selon les indications de l'ingénieur Leconte. Son automatisation date de 1990. Il s'agit d'une tour pyramidale à section carrée en maçonnerie lisse accolée à la face sud d'une maison rectangulaire également en maçonnerie lisse et formant groupe avec les anciens logements et annexes du premier phare.

History
This lighthouse is located at Pointe des Corbeaux, at the south-east extremity of the Île d'Yeu in Vendée. The first lighthouse, erected in 1862, was destroyed by the German army in 1944 and then rebuilt in 1950 by architect Maurice Durand according to the specifications of engineer Leconte. Its automation dates from 1990.
