History
Manor house built probably in the Middle Ages, transformed in the 1630s. Oval drawing room of 1780 with plaster decoration. Altered in the 1830s after its acquisition by the comte de La Poëze who created the landscaped park. The château was profoundly transformed from 1891 to 1900 by the architect Félix Libaudière.
