Historique
Le couvent fut fondé au 13ème siècle à l'extérieur de la ville puis transféré dans son enceinte au cours de la seconde moitié du 14ème siècle. L'église a fait l'objet d'une campagne de construction à la fin du 14ème siècle ou début du 15ème, suivie par des travaux d'embellissement dans un style flamboyant à la fin du Moyen-Age. Au 17ème siècle, une troisième campagne de construction est entreprise avec la création de chapelles rayonnantes, l'élévation du clocher, l'ouverture d'une tribune ainsi que le voûtement de la nef. La reconstruction du cloître, au 18ème siècle, dans un style classique, jalonne l'histoire de cet ensemble conventuel. Le couvent et l'église furent vendus à la Révolution puis divisés en plusieurs lots entre particuliers

History
The convent was founded in the 13th century outside the town then transferred within its walls in the course of the second half of the 14th century. The church was the subject of a building campaign at the end of the 14th century or beginning of the 15th, followed by works of embellishment in a Flamboyant style at the end of the Middle Ages. In the 17th century, a third building campaign is undertaken with the creation of radiating chapels, the elevation of the bell tower, the opening of a gallery as well as the vaulting of the nave. The reconstruction of the cloister, in the 18th century, in a classical style, marks the history of this conventional ensemble. The convent and the church were sold at the Revolution then divided into several lots among private individuals.
