Historique
Cet hôtel est formé d'un ensemble de bâtiments, particulièrement complexe et hétérogène. La maison principale est repérable à sa tour d'escalier médiévale crénelée. Les bâtiments sont répartis autour de deux cours, avec un jardin à l'ouest qui se présente comme un dépôt archéologique. Un salon à l'étage présente un plafond peint à poutres apparentes et solives caractéristique dans cette région au 17ème siècle. Le décor présente une alternance de rinceaux, centaures, putti tenant des médaillons ainsi que des paysages. Cet hôtel possède également quatre cheminées dont trois ont des hottes droites, à la française, ornées de gypseries. Leur iconographie présente un intérêt certain: thèmes mythologiques antiques et thème de l'histoire romaine. Si l'iconographie appartient aux 16ème et 17ème siècles, la forme des cheminées indique plutôt une date se situant au 18ème siècle. La quatrième cheminée porte une plaque aux armes de François 1er.

History
This hotel is formed of a complex and heterogeneous group of buildings. The main house is identifiable by its crenellated medieval stair tower. The buildings are distributed around two courtyards, with a garden to the west which presents itself as an archaeological deposit. A salon on the upper floor displays a painted ceiling with exposed beams and joists characteristic of this region in the 17th century. The decoration presents an alternation of scrollwork, centaurs, putti holding medallions as well as landscapes. This hotel also possesses four fireplaces, three of which have straight hoods, French-style, ornamented with plasterwork. Their iconography presents certain interest: ancient mythological themes and themes from Roman history. If the iconography belongs to the 16th and 17th centuries, the form of the fireplaces indicates rather a date falling in the 18th century. The fourth fireplace bears a plaque with the arms of François I.
