Historique
Domaine constitué au 18e siècle pour la famille Ripert de Monclar. Jean-Pierre-François est à l'origine du projet de structuration de la plaine de Saint-Saturnin, organisant l'espace à partir de grands axes orthogonaux centré sur un projet de nouveau château qui ne fut jamais construit. Les jardins créés sont conservés, avec leurs alignements, leurs banquettes, leur parterre de buis, leurs fontaines et bassins. Des travaux hydrauliques développent un réseau de mines. ££A l'ouest, dans l'axe de l'allée d'accès au château, la ferme du Cabaret, qui abritait les écuries, était également spécialisée dans l'exploitation viticole. Au sud, fermant l'axe majeur de composition des jardins, le moulin, est le principal établissement d'un ensemble meunier associant trois bâtiments. L'édifice fut probablement bâti entre 1759 et 1773. History
Estate established in the 18th century for the Ripert de Monclar family. Jean-Pierre-François was at the origin of the project for structuring the plain of Saint-Saturnin, organizing the space from large orthogonal axes centred on a project for a new château which was never built. The gardens created are preserved, with their alignments, their banquettes, their box parterre, their fountains and basins. Hydraulic works developed a network of water channels. To the south, closing the major axis of the garden composition, the mill is the principal establishment of a milling complex comprising three buildings.
