Origine non documentée mais plusieurs actes de 1491 fondant les droits d'eau évoquent la construction en cours de plusieurs moulins à blanchir les toiles pour Baptiste de Ponte, habitant d'Avignon. Chapelle fondée en 1690. Devenu moulin à papier puis papeterie industrielle, l'établissement est complété au 19e siècle par divers bâtiments annexes. Dernière extension dans les années 1960 avec une grande usine de l'autre côté du canal. Deux bâtiments anciens subsistent : le grand bâtiment rectangulaire enjambant la rivière, sans doute l'ancien moulin (avec croisées, portes, plancher, escalier en vis conservés) et la chapelle du 17e siècle avec décor de stuc remanié au début du 20e siècle.

History
Undocumented origin but several deeds from 1491 establishing water rights evoke the construction in progress of several mills for bleaching canvas for Baptiste de Ponte, inhabitant of Avignon. Chapel founded in 1690. Having become a paper mill then industrial paper works, the establishment was completed in the 19th century by various annexe buildings. Final extension in the 1960s with a large factory on the other side of the canal. Two old buildings remain: the large rectangular building spanning the river, probably the former mill (with mullioned and transomed windows, doors, floorboards, spiral staircase preserved) and the 17th century chapel with stucco decoration reworked in the early 20th century.
