Chapelle bâtie par la confrérie des Pénitents noirs entre 1738 et 1741 sur un plan attribué à l'architecte carpentrassien Antoine d'Allemand. L'édifice, normalement orienté, présente une nef unique et des chapelles latérales logées entre les contreforts qui épaulent la nef. A l'extérieur, chevet et murs latéraux sont englobés dans les immeubles qui jouxtent la chapelle. C'est un bon témoignage de l'architecture religieuse du milieu du 18e siècle

History
Chapel built by the confraternity of the Black Penitents between 1738 and 1741 on a plan attributed to the Carpentras architect Antoine d'Allemand. The building, normally oriented, presents a single nave and lateral chapels housed between the buttresses that support the nave. Externally, the chevet and lateral walls are enclosed in the buildings adjacent to the chapel. It is a good testimony to the religious architecture of the mid-18th century
