Historique
La villa Cécile, ensemble de villégiature balnéaire, se présente comme une imitation des anciennes bastides provençales. Elle fut bâtie en 1870, à l'emplacement d'une ancienne propriété appartenant à la confrérie du Saint-Esprit. La demeure, close de murailles, est entourée d'un jardin avec bassins, serre et colombier, et d'une zone agricole. Au sud, se trouvent la thèse et la maison de gardien. La villa est une grosse maison bourgeoise dont le plan s'organise, de façon identique aux différents étages, autour d'un couloir central. L'intérieur se compose, au rez-de-chaussée, d'un vestibule et d'un grand salon central ouvrant sur une loggia. La façade sud est agrémentée d'une tour offrant, à chaque niveau, une pièce formant belvédère.

History
The villa Cécile, a seaside holiday resort complex, presents itself as an imitation of the old Provençal bastides. It was built in 1870, on the site of an old property belonging to the Confraternity of the Holy Ghost. The dwelling, enclosed by walls, is surrounded by a garden with pools, a greenhouse and dovecote, and an agricultural area. To the south are the study and the keeper's house.
