Historique
Ecole construite de 1905 à 1907, inaugurée en 1908. La décoration sculptée et en céramique date de la même année. L'édifice, bâti par l'architecte Charles Maurel, présente un plan en U, fermé au sud par un portique encadré par deux avant-corps traités à la façon d'un temple antique, avec fronton soutenu par des colonnes ioniques. Les trois ailes abritant les salles de classe s'articulent avec des pavillons d'angle à un étage destinés au logement des maîtres. Les façades des ailes sont rythmés par des piliers et ornées de carreaux de céramique à motifs. Les façades nord des pavillons comportent de grandes arcades en plein cintre, surmontées de petites arcades jumelées. Au sommet des quatre façades des pavillons, courent des bandes de céramique bleue et bordeaux, entre des agrafes sculptées. La sculpture a été traitée par Emile Reynier. Les céramiques proviennent de la maison Boulenger et Cie et ont été posées par le sculpteur Rossi.

History
School built from 1905 to 1907, inaugurated in 1908. The sculptural and ceramic decoration dates from the same year. The building, constructed by architect Charles Maurel, presents a U-shaped plan, closed to the south by a portico framed by two pavilions treated in the manner of an antique temple, with pediment supported by Ionic columns. The three wings housing the classrooms articulate with single-storey corner pavilions intended for the accommodation of teachers. The facades of the wings are rhythmed by pillars and decorated with ceramic tiles with motifs. The north facades of the pavilions feature large round-arch arcades, surmounted by small paired arcades. At the summit of the four facades of the pavilions run bands of blue and burgundy ceramic between sculptured clasps. The sculpture was executed by Emile Reynier. The ceramics came from the company Boulenger et Cie and were installed by the sculptor Rossi.
