Le château est construit au milieu du 15e siècle, puis remanié après des désordres liés aux guerres de Religion avant d'être incendié à la Révolution. Il est partiellement reconstruit vers 1800 et le décor intérieur est mis au goût du jour. A l'occasion d'un mariage, un papier peint panoramique est posé dans le billard du château. Réalisé et conçu par la manufacture Dufour et Leroy, en 1815, il illustre l'histoire des amours de Cupidon et Psyché en douze tableaux travaillés en grisaille.

History
The castle is built in the middle of the 15th century, then altered after disturbances linked to the Wars of Religion before being burned during the Revolution. It is partially rebuilt around 1800 and the interior decoration is updated to the taste of the time. On the occasion of a wedding, panoramic wallpaper is hung in the billiards room of the castle.
