Le domaine existait au 13e siècle. Reconstruit en grande partie au début du 17e siècle, le château à cour fermée conserve une porterie du 14e siècle avec des archères en bêche, des douves et des éléments de décor porté des 16e et 17e siècles. La structure médiévale de l'édifice est encore en grande partie conservée. Au 19e siècle, des projets de rénovation sont pensés par l'architecte Garros. A cette même époque, le château perd son aile sud et la cour s'ouvre sur un parc réaménagé.

History
The estate existed in the 13th century. Rebuilt largely in the early 17th century, the closed-courtyard château retains a gatehouse of the 14th century with spade-shaped arrow-slits, moats and decorative elements from the 16th and 17th centuries. The medieval structure of the building is still largely preserved. In the 19th century, renovation projects were conceived by the architect Garros. At the same time, the château lost its south wing and the courtyard opened onto a remodelled park.
