Cet édifice en béton armé fut érigé, en 1915, par les Allemands. La fortification se présente en deux parties non communicantes. La première est une petite maison à deux niveaux surmontée d'un toit incliné à deux pans et guets à vues. La seconde partie consiste en une petite aile carrée au toit arrondi. Le sol est pavé et la façade revêtue de briques rouges. Ce blockhaus est un des derniers témoignages de la guerre d'usure à laquelle se sont livrées les armées opposées sur le front de la Somme.

History
This reinforced concrete edifice was erected in 1915 by the Germans. The fortification presents itself in two non-communicating parts. The first is a small house with two storeys topped with an inclined two-sided roof and viewing stations. The second part consists of a small square wing with a rounded roof. The floor is paved and the façade faced with red bricks. This blockhaus is one of the last testimonies to the war of attrition to which the opposing armies engaged on the Somme front.
