Château féodal réaménagé en 1840 par l'architecte Contant d'Ivry qui construisit un corps de logis de style classique et conçut entièrement les jardins, le parc et le canal. Le seigneur d'Heilly, hanté par Versailles, consacra sa fortune à vouloir faire de son château le plus magnifique de la province. Le château a été en grande partie détruit et transformé en carrière de pierre après sa vente en 1848.

History
Feudal castle remodeled in 1840 by the architect Contant d'Ivry who built a main dwelling in classical style and entirely designed the gardens, the park and the canal. The lord of Heilly, haunted by Versailles, devoted his fortune to wanting to make his castle the most magnificent in the province. The castle was largely destroyed and transformed into a stone quarry after its sale in 1848.
