Historique
Hôtel construit en 1898-1899 par l'architecte Amédée Milvoy qui préconise le retour à l'étude de la nature. Décor monumental foisonnant témoignant pour une part du mouvement de l'Art Nouveau naissant. En 1953, l'édifice est vendu au centre hospitalier d'Amiens qui en fit une école d'infirmières et qui le vendit en 1988 à la Fondation Cozette pour les oeuvres sociales. A l'intérieur, décor important (boiseries sculptées, encadrements de portes et plafonds peints, cheminée en céramique vernissée...) conjuguant à la fois les techniques de l'Art Nouveau et le maintien de formes et thèmes plus traditionnels, des styles Louis XVI et Napoléon III.

History
Hotel built in 1898-1899 by architect Amédée Milvoy who advocated a return to the study of nature. Abundant monumental decoration testifying in part to the emerging Art Nouveau movement. In 1953, the building is sold to the Amiens hospital centre which made it a nursing school and sold it in 1988 to the Cozette Foundation for social works. Inside, significant decoration (sculpted woodwork, door frames and painted ceilings, glazed ceramic fireplace...) combining both the techniques of Art Nouveau and the maintenance of more traditional forms and themes, Louis XVI and Napoleon III styles.
