Originally, it is a priory with cure given at the beginning of the 12th century to the abbey of Saint-Laon de Thouars. The nave was rebuilt in 1757. Construction of the bell tower in 1848. New vaulting of the choir and nave in 1860. Church of rectangular plan with a choir extending over two bays, lower than the nave itself of two bays. The south side comprises a porch, the bell tower with its stair tower and a sacristy. From the nave, an arcade communicates with the bell tower. The west elevation is lit by a stained-glass window by Luc Fournier of Tours, dated 1913. Interior: two series of wall paintings, with two historiated panels (a laying in the tomb; a figure of a bishop) of the 15th century painted on earlier decoration of false ashlar with double false joints. The wall of the chevet is decorated with two separate campaigns of false ashlar.
