Construit entre 1865 et 1867 par l'entreprise Melin sur les plans de l'architecte Godineau de la Bretonnerie, le temple est surtout remarquable pour son élévation principale. C'est une construction de caractère néo-classique, composée d'un volume rectangulaire unique, couverte d'une toiture à longs pans. Le portail de la façade principale est surmonté d'un oculus percé dans le pignon évoquant un fronton à base interrompue. Effondré partiellement en 1975, le temple a été transformé en " maison pour tous " à partir de 1982.

History
Built between 1865 and 1867 by the Melin company on the plans of architect Godineau de la Bretonnerie, the temple is especially remarkable for its main elevation. It is a construction of neo-classical character, composed of a single rectangular volume, covered with a roof with long slopes. The portal of the main façade is surmounted by an oculus pierced in the gable evoking a pediment with interrupted base. Partially collapsed in 1975, the temple was transformed into a "community centre" from 1982.
