Historique
Le château aurait été rebâti vers 1480. Le logis et ses longs bâtiments de commun forment une cour entourée de fossés. Une parcelle de terre s'étend à l'arrière du logis qui occupe l'aile nord de la cour, elle-même entourée de douves en eau. L'entrée se fait par le sud, passé un pont qui enjambe un fossé. L'aile ouest des communs est constituée de deux bâtiments en enfilade. De plan rectangulaire, le logis est appuyé, en façade sur cour, d'une tour hors-oeuvre qui abrite l'escalier en vis. Entre les deux salles principales, une petite pièce abrite un deuxième escalier en oeuvre, ce qui représente une variante des plans types des tours-maisons du 15e siècle. Le château comprend un rez-de-chaussée, un étage carré et un étage de comble.

History
The castle is said to have been rebuilt around 1480. The main dwelling and its long outbuilding ranges form a courtyard surrounded by ditches. A parcel of land extends behind the main dwelling which occupies the north wing of the courtyard, itself surrounded by water-filled moats. Access is from the south, via a bridge spanning a ditch. The west wing of the outbuildings consists of two buildings in line. Rectangular in plan, the main dwelling is buttressed on its courtyard façade by an external tower which houses a spiral staircase. Between the two main rooms, a small room houses a second in-building staircase, which represents a variant of the typical plans of 15th-century tower-houses. The castle comprises a ground floor, a first floor and an attic floor.
