Eglise remarquablement unitaire édifiée en 1718 et 1719 par le frère convers François Romain, ingénieur et inspecteur des Pont et Chaussées. Le savant appareil de brique, pierre et moellons des élévations externes évoque fortement les origines septentrionales du constructeur (Hollande) donnant une touche d'étrangeté à ce bâtiment de conception classique. Façade occidentale sommée d'un clocher, autrefois pourvu d'un toit à l'impériale. Nef à vaisseau unique de trois travées que précède une travée de clocher, choeur de trois travées dans le prolongement. Les intérieurs, voûtés en brique ou lambrissés, ont conservé des vestiges de leur décoration originelle.

History
Remarkably unified church built in 1718 and 1719 by the lay brother François Romain, engineer and inspector of Bridges and Highways. The skilled masonry of brick, stone and rubble stone of the external elevations strongly evokes the northern origins of the builder (Holland) giving a touch of strangeness to this building of classical conception. Western façade topped by a bell tower, formerly provided with a roof in the imperial style. Nave with single vessel of three bays preceded by a bell tower bay, choir of three bays in continuation. The interiors, vaulted in brick or panelled, have retained vestiges of their original decoration.
