Historique
Immeuble construit en 1897 par l'architecte communal Léon Carle. La boutique au rez-de-chaussée est une fromagerie dès l'origine. La vitrine adopte un parti de symétrie avec porte centrale dégageant deux grands panneaux. A l'intérieur, les murs sont revêtus de marbres colorés et de panneaux rectangulaires en stuc de teinte claire. Le plafond, pourtouré d'un décor floral, est formé de carreaux en céramique blanche. Le mobilier de marbre blanc veiné se compose d'étagères, de deux présentoirs ouvragés et de trois rangements plus sobres. L'espace central mène à la caisse, grande structure en menuiserie très soignée dotée en partie haute d'une horloge. La caisse mécanique, datée de 1900, a été conservée en état de fonctionnement. History
Building constructed in 1897 by the municipal architect Léon Carle. The shop on the ground floor is a cheese shop from its origins. The storefront adopts a symmetrical arrangement with a central door opening onto two large panels. Inside, the walls are lined with coloured marbles and light-tinted rectangular stucco panels. The ceiling, surrounded by floral decoration, is formed of white ceramic tiles. The white veined marble furniture consists of shelves, two ornate display stands and three more plain storage units. The central space leads to the till, a large structure of very carefully executed joinery equipped in its upper part with a clock. The mechanical till, dated 1900, has been preserved in working order. Rarity of this kind of achievement outside Paris
