Asile construit par décret impérial du 8 mars 1855 pour recevoir les ouvriers blessés sur les chantiers publics (équivalence civile des hôpitaux destinés aux invalides de guerre) , puis les convalescentes du département de la Seine. Asylum built by imperial decree of 8 March 1855 to receive workers injured on public works sites (civilian equivalent of hospitals intended for war invalids), then convalescents from the department of Seine.
