Historique
La reconstruction de la halle, décidée par le conseil municipal et confiée à l'architecte Gilbert, se fait entre 1841 et 1842. Quatre piliers en pierre portent la partie centrale de la charpente et le lanternon ; autour sont disposés seize autre piliers en pierre qui supportent le comble ; une grille en fer entre les piliers ferme la halle ; la couverture est en zinc, la charpente en chêne et le sol pavé. La halle, située sur une place au carrefour des rues principales du bourg, a été confortée en 1864 par l'adjonction de quatre colonnes en fonte. La halle a conservé sa fonction et ses dispositions d'origine.

History
The reconstruction of the hall, decided by the municipal council and entrusted to architect Gilbert, took place between 1841 and 1842. Four stone pillars carry the central part of the roof structure and the lantern; around are arranged sixteen other stone pillars which support the roof space; an iron grille between the pillars closes the hall; the covering is zinc, the roof structure oak and the floor paved. The hall, situated on a square at the crossroads of the main streets of the town, was reinforced in 1864 by the addition of four cast-iron columns. The hall has retained its original function and arrangements.
