Grande demeure classique édifiée dans les années 1760 par l'architecte Joseph-Abel Couture, qui traça également le parc. Entièrement construit en pierre de taille, le château conserve l'essentiel des aménagements intérieurs, distribution et décors de la seconde moitié du 18e siècle. Cette réalisation a été mise en place sur une structure antérieure d'enclos manorial dont subsistent encore l'organisation générale de la cour avec bâtiments agricoles adossés à l'enceinte, d'importantes portions de l'ancienne enceinte avec ses tourelles et une partie des caves du château. L'agrandissement du domaine dans ses limites actuelles a été réalisé entre 1781 et 1826.

History
Large classical residence built in the 1760s by architect Joseph-Abel Couture, who also laid out the park. Entirely constructed in ashlar, the château preserves the essential parts of the interior fittings, distribution and decoration of the second half of the 18th century. This building was established on an earlier structure of manorial enclosure of which there still remain the general organization of the courtyard with agricultural buildings backed against the enclosure, important portions of the former enclosure with its turrets and part of the cellars of the château. The enlargement of the domain within its present limits was carried out between 1781 and 1826.
