At the end of the 16th century or beginning of the 17th, the manor is set within a rectangular enclosure, with a main dwelling in brick and stone. During the course of the 17th century, a large central block (1617), a chapel (1640-1643) and then the eastern wing are successively constructed adjoining the main dwelling, always in brick and stone. From the same period date the elements of the enclosure, notably the two monumental doors and agricultural buildings. In 1912 the western wing is constructed on the model of the eastern wing. The interiors of the main dwelling are modified by the architect Flavigny around 1950. The château is representative of a residence of a family of the sword nobility of the Ancien Régime with its representative architectural elements, notably the chapel, the enclosure and the fortified doors.
