La seigneurie de Beauval, dans le comté d'Aliermont est située à proximité de la forêt du Hellet. Vers 1600, Aimar de Saint-Ouen en fait l'acquisition. Son fils Charles de Saint-Ouen y fait construire une chapelle en 1651. Le manoir comprend un corps de logis rectangulaire, à un étage carré et étage de combles, dont les angles sont flanqués d'un côté à l'ouest de tours carrées couvertes en pavillons. La construction initiale est réalisée à la fin du 16e siècle en briques avec bandeaux et corniches moulurées, meurtrières sur la tour, et latrine en saillie. La façade ouest, remaniée au milieu du 17e siècle, présente un décor de croisillons de briques vernissées, de part et d'autre d'une arcade de pierre et d'un fronton porté par d'élégantes colonnettes cannelées avec damier de silex taillés en remplissage. History
The seigneurial domain of Beauval, in the county of Aliermont is situated near the forest of Hellet. Around 1600, Aimar de Saint-Ouen acquires it. His son Charles de Saint-Ouen has a chapel built there in 1651. The manor comprises a rectangular main dwelling, with one squared storey and an attic storey, whose angles are flanked on the west side by square towers covered with pavilion roofs. The initial construction is realized at the end of the 16th century in bricks with bands and moulded cornices, loopholes on the tower, and latrine in projection. The west façade, remodelled in the mid-17th century, presents decoration of brick lattice-work vernished, on either side of a stone arcade and a pediment carried by elegant fluted colonnettes with coursed flint in the infill. Enlarged in 1754, the dwelling was remodelled at that time then in the 19th century (openings and decoration, notably that of the portrait room). The brick chapel was modified in the 18th century to accommodate a stucco altarpiece fitted with paintings on canvas.
