Historique
L'ancienne église, excentrée et devenue trop exiguë, a été remplacée par un édifice construit à partir de 1913 à peu près au centre du bourg sur les plans de l'architecte Pierre Chirol (1881-1953). Ce dernier conçoit un ensemble de style néo-roman, cruciforme, en brique et maçonnerie enduite de ciment, à tour lanterne hexagonale sur la croisée du transept. L'intérieur présente une vaste nef voûtée et un choeur terminé par une abside en cul-de-four et un large escalier donnant accès aux tribunes côté ouest. L'église a été consacrée en 1916 et le grand porche et le clocher ont été élevés de 1931 à 1937.

History
The old church, off-centre and having become too cramped, was replaced by a building constructed from 1913 approximately at the centre of the town on the plans of architect Pierre Chirol (1881-1953). The latter conceives an ensemble of neo-Romanesque style, cruciform, in brick and masonry rendered in cement, with a hexagonal lantern tower over the transept crossing. The interior presents a vast vaulted nave and a choir terminated by a hemispherical apse and a broad staircase giving access to the galleries on the west side. The church was consecrated in 1916 and the great porch and bell tower were erected from 1931 to 1937.
