History
Around 1080, monks from the abbey of Saint-Evroult en Ouche established a priory of Saint-Pierre. The choir was rebuilt in 1128. The building was sold as national property around 1790. The church comprises a large nave restored between 1863 and 1872 by the architect Dauphiné, the rest of the building dating from the 12th and 13th centuries, as well as frescoes by Pasquier. It was damaged in 1944. The interiors of the nave and choir were renovated by abbé Lucien Bodin between 1953 and 1959.
