Cette villa-château a été construite en 1866 par l'architecte havrais Théodore Huchon pour Amédée Boyer, propriétaire de l'Eau de Mélisse des Carmes. La demeure est bâtie en briques et pierres de style Louis XIII. Les reines d'Espagne Marie-Christine et Isabelle II y auraient séjourné à plusieurs reprises. History
This villa-castle was built in 1866 by Le Havre architect Théodore Huchon for Amédée Boyer, owner of the Eau de Mélisse des Carmes. The residence is built in brick and stone in the Louis XIII style. The Queens of Spain Marie-Christine and Isabella II are said to have stayed there several times. On the same model was built the castle, known as the master's house of Lillebonne.
