Les deux grues hydrauliques servaient à alimenter en eau les chaudières de locomotives à vapeur du réseau ouest jusqu'en 1968. Construites en 1931 par les usines Chappée au Mans, elles sont constituées d'un socle et d'une base en fonte que surmonte une colonne terminée par un assemblage en col-de-cygne. History
The two hydraulic cranes were used to supply water to the boilers of steam locomotives on the western network until 1968. Built in 1931 by the Chappée factories in Le Mans, they consist of a base and a cast-iron foundation surmounted by a column terminated by a swan-neck assembly. The whole assembly pivots to position itself above the tender's tank. Currently, they are used to supply the Pacific 231 locomotive (classified as a moveable object in 1984)
