Le couvent des Augustines était installé à Caudebec dès le 16e siècle. History
The convent of the Augustinian Sisters was established at Caudebec from the 16th century. It was bombed and burned in 1940; its remains were registered on the Supplementary Inventory on 24 November 1941, but the convent was again damaged in 1944. During the reconstruction of the town around 1950, the remains were demolished and only the south door of the great chapel was preserved and remounted on the façade of the presbytery, rue Jean-Léon Leprévost. The 17th-century door is presented as an opening under a round arch, flanked by two pilasters and surmounted by a niche occupied by a statue of the Virgin and Child.
