Historique

History
Launched as early as 1930 with architects Blavette and Gélis, the convent project was approved in 1933, Hulot replacing Blavette, who had died. The chapel was inaugurated in 1936. The brick building comprises a part open to the public, including the chapel and parlours, and the convent proper, comprising the cells and communal living areas. The buildings surround a garden courtyard on three sides, with galleries forming a cloister. The chapel comprises a single nave flanked by seven side chapels. The stained-glass windows of the choir and side chapels, executed between 1936 and 1947, are by André Pierre and Pierre Villette. The fourteen stained-glass windows of the nave and four of the choir are by Claude Malespine.
