Historique
Ateliers construits entre 1909 et 1910 par le sculpteur Anciaux von Elsberg, selon un plan en L, dans une cour. La structure est en pans de bois à remplissage de briques, couverts en sheds. Ils sont à deux niveaux, un rez-de-chaussée et un étage de comble, chaque niveau étant pourvu d'une mezzanine. Les façades sont principalement constituées de baies vitrées. Selon la tradition, ils auraient été construits avec les matériaux de récupération de l'exposition universelle de 1889 ou 1900. Un atelier préexistant sur rue, construit en 1885, aurait été utilisé par Paul Gauguin.

History
Workshops built between 1909 and 1910 by sculptor Anciaux von Elsberg, according to an L-shaped plan, in a courtyard. The structure is in timber framing with brick infill, covered in sheds. They are two storeys, a ground floor and an attic storey, each level being provided with a mezzanine. The façades are chiefly made up of glazed openings. According to tradition, they would have been built with salvage materials from the universal exposition of 1889 or 1900. A pre-existing workshop on the street, built in 1885, would have been used by Paul Gauguin.
