Ce temple fut construit de 1862 à 1865 par l'architecte Théodore Ballu et constitue le premier temple réformé édifié dans la capitale. Il comprend une salle de culte avec sa sacristie, une bibliothèque, des logements ainsi qu'une école de garçons et une école de filles. L'entrée du lieu de culte se distingue par des colonnes surmontées d'un fronton et d'un clocheton. La salle de prière présente un premier niveau lambrissé de chêne et un second portant les tribunes. Un plafond vitré de verres colorés datant de 1905 assurent l'éclairage. Cet édifice est considéré comme une uvre majeure du Second Empire, réalisée dans un style classique.

History
This temple was built from 1862 to 1865 by the architect Théodore Ballu and constitutes the first Reformed temple erected in the capital. It comprises a worship hall with its sacristy, a library, dwellings as well as a boys' school and a girls' school. The entrance to the place of worship is distinguished by columns surmounted by a pediment and a bell turret. The prayer hall presents a first level panelled with oak and a second bearing the galleries. A glazed ceiling of coloured glass dating from 1905 provides the lighting. This building is considered a major work of the Second Empire, executed in a classical style.
