Le corps de logis sur cour fut d'abord un grand hôtel Renaissance bâti pour Pierre Séguier, président au Parlement de Paris, dans le second quart du 16e siècle ; puis la demeure de Louis d'Albert de Luynes, pair de France de 1641 à 1671. En 1671, l'édifice devint maison bourgeoise. Au 19e siècle, le bâtiment accueillit des ateliers et des logements locatifs. Les différentes campagnes de travaux ont transformé l'immeuble. De son âge d'or, il conserve une façade de 1671, deux petites baies cintrées, sept plafonds à la française, un petit escalier de service à balustres en bois, le volume de la cage d'escalier principal de 1671, une pièce voûtée, des jambages d'anciennes fenêtres et parties de meneaux dissimulés sous les enduits de la maçonnerie.

History
The main dwelling on the courtyard was first a large Renaissance hotel built for Pierre Séguier, president of the Parlement of Paris, in the second quarter of the 16th century; then the residence of Louis d'Albert de Luynes, peer of France from 1641 to 1671.
