Ancienne maison locative qui appartenait aux Jabobins de la rue du Faubourg Saint-Jacques, construite en 1734-1735. La porte cochère présente, en clef, une agrafe ornée de la dépouille du lion de Némée. Une tourelle accueillait autrefois les cabinets d'aisance. De l'époque de la construction également, le retour du bâtiment sur cour avec son aile en équerre. Dans cette aile se trouve le grand escalier Louis XV. Les paliers à pavements de liais et marbre noir accueillent de larges fenêtres à petits bois d'origine, devenus exceptionnels du fait de leur rareté.

History
Former rental house that belonged to the Jacobins of rue du Faubourg Saint-Jacques, built in 1734-1735. The carriage entrance presents, in its keystone, an ornamental clasp decorated with the spoils of the Nemean lion. A turret formerly housed the water closets. Dating from the construction period are also the return of the building onto the courtyard with its right-angled wing. In this wing is found the great Louis XV staircase. The landings with liais and black marble pavements accommodate large windows with original small panes, which have become exceptional due to their rarity.
