Cet immeuble, construit entre 1618 et 1660 lors du lotissement de l'île, se situe en face de l'église Saint-Louis. Parcellaire très dense dans cette zone où l'habitat s'est fixé très tôt, regroupant des artisans, des marchands ou des employés aux travaux de l'île. L'immeuble appartient en 1734 aux marguilliers de l'église. Cet immeuble de rapport a conservé une façade très simple : le portail présente une demi-lune en fer forgé et ouvre sur une cour intérieure. A gauche, desservant l'aile en retour, se développe un bel escalier qui a conservé son limon d'origine et sa rampe en fer forgé.

History
This building, constructed between 1618 and 1660 during the subdivision of the island, is located opposite the church of Saint-Louis. Very dense plot layout in this zone where settlement occurred very early, bringing together craftsmen, merchants or workers employed on the island's works. The building belonged in 1734 to the churchwardens of the church. This rental building has retained a very simple facade: the portal presents a wrought iron half-moon and opens onto an interior courtyard. To the left, serving the return wing, develops a fine staircase which has retained its original string and its wrought iron railing.
