Historique
Immeuble construit par Henri Blondel en 1864 sur des terrains vendus par la Ville de Paris à l'occasion de la " régularisation " du quai de la Mégisserie à partir de 1862. L'immeuble fait coin avec le quai, la rue Bertin-Poiré et la rue Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois. Il abrita l'agence de l'architecte jusqu'en 1893 avec son appartement au premier étage. Blondel revend l'immeuble en 1890. En 1866, construction d'un bâtiment de communs en fond de cour constitué de remises et d'écurie. Le porche d'entrée, encadré de cariatides sculptées par Auguste Millet, ouvre sur un passage et un vestibule d'immeuble très architecturés, ornés d'éléments d'inspiration antique : colonnes, médaillons, ... L'ensemble est construit sur deux niveaux de sous-sols surmontés de trois étages carrés, d'un étage brisé et d'un comble. L'appartement de l'architecte a conservé toute sa décoration d'origine : stucs dorés, dessus-de-porte peints, corniches moulurées, ...

History
Building constructed by Henri Blondel in 1864 on land sold by the City of Paris on the occasion of the "regularization" of the Quai de la Mégisserie from 1862. The building forms a corner with the quay, Rue Bertin-Poiré and Rue Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois. It housed the architect's office until 1893 with his apartment on the first floor. Blondel resells the building in 1890. In 1866, construction of a service building at the back of the courtyard consisting of storage sheds and stable. The entrance porch, framed by caryatids sculpted by Auguste Millet, opens onto a passage and a very architecturally designed building vestibule, decorated with elements of antique inspiration: columns, medallions, ...
