Siège d'une seigneurie ancienne, le château présentait encore, sur le cadastre de 1825, la composition régulière du milieu du 17e siècle. Des travaux mineurs ont été effectués sur les extérieurs ainsi que sur la chapelle au début du 19e siècle mais d'autres, dans les années 1882-1883, ont bouleversé la régularité du bâti. Depuis lors, les remaniements des intérieurs se sont succédé avec régularité. Seules ont conservé aujourd'hui un caractère d'authenticité la grande allée de tilleuls menant à une fabrique de style néo-classique et la chapelle, certes redécorée vers 1863-1864 mais qui abrite une remarquable verrière datant du 16e siècle.

History
Seat of an ancient seigniory, the château still presented, on the 1825 cadastral survey, the regular composition of the mid-17th century. Minor works were carried out on the exteriors as well as on the chapel in the early 19th century but others, in the years 1882-1883, disrupted the regularity of the building. Since then, alterations to the interiors have succeeded one another regularly. Only the great avenue of lime trees leading to a neo-classical garden building and the chapel have retained any authenticity today, although the latter was redecorated around 1863-1864 but houses a remarkable stained-glass window dating from the 16th century.
