History
The main dwelling built at the end of the 15th century probably replaced an older building. The present main dwelling, distributed by a spiral staircase housed in a semi-engaged tower with cut-off angles, is built on a platform surrounded by a network of moats including a motte-and-bailey. Building work from the 16th to the 18th century left elements of defensive character such as the turrets with their gun embrasures, and decorative such as chimneys with dormers.
