La maison conserve l'une des tours d'enceinte de l'ancien castrum du 3e siècle. L'ensemble se compose de deux bâtiments en équerre sur une cour, desservis par une tour d'escalier carrée, hors-oeuvre, située dans l'angle. La tour de l'ancien castrum flanque le bâtiment Est au sud. Le bâtiment nord, très remanié, date de la fin du 15e ou du début du 16e siècle. Le bâtiment Est et la tour d'escalier datent du 17e siècle. Au 18e siècle, la façade sur cour du bâtiment nord a été refaite et les élévations de la tour retouchées. L'ensemble a connu divers remaniements aux 19e et 20e siècles.

History
The house preserves one of the enclosure towers of the old castrum of the 3rd century. The ensemble consists of two buildings at right angles over a court, served by a square staircase tower, projecting, situated in the corner. The tower of the old castrum flanks the East building to the south. The north building, much remodelled, dates from the end of the 15th or beginning of the 16th century. The East building and the staircase tower date from the 17th century. In the 18th century, the façade over court of the north building was redone and the elevations of the tower retouched. The ensemble has undergone various alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries.
