L'ancien hôtel de ville a été construit par les échevins de Cluny sur un terrain acquis en 1619. Il est transféré en 1793 au couvent des Récollets et transformé en maison particulière. Des cloisonnements sont alors effectués. Au prelier étage, la salle du conseil, restituée après démolition des cloisons, est décorée de faux lambris en strucs avec une cheminée Louis XV et un plafond à solives apparente.

History
The old town hall was built by the aldermen of Cluny on land acquired in 1619. It was transferred in 1793 to the convent of the Recollects and converted into a private dwelling. Partitions were then made. On the first floor, the council chamber, restored after demolition of the partitions, is decorated with false timber panelling in stucco with a Louis XV fireplace and a ceiling with exposed beams.
