Château bâti en 1830 sur l'emplacement d'une ancienne forteresse médiévale dont il ne subsiste que les douves et une partie à l'est. Style néo-classique avec des références italianisantes. History
Castle built in 1830 on the site of an old medieval fortress of which only the moats and a section to the east remain. Neo-classical style with Italianate references. H-shaped plan surrounded by moats on three sides and comprising a central dwelling and two wings in return on two façades. The estate comprises numerous outbuildings (cellars, 17th-century dovecote, vat house) whose distribution resembles the design of an Italian agricultural villa. The interior decoration reflects the transition from neo-classical style to eclecticism under the July Monarchy. Rooms furnished with Paris furniture and 1830 hangings, with decoration of false wood and false marble, ceilings painted in Pompeian or antique style. Walls covered with wallpapers from the Dufour company.
