Description
L'édifice est d'un plan en carré irrégulier, de dimensions réduites. Il comprend un rez-de-chaussée en partie voûté d'arêtes, avec cellier et écurie ; et un premier étage avec logement de deux pièces au-dessus du cellier, dont une cuisine à cheminée à hotte en pierre. L'arc qui couvre la porte d'entrée du cellier, et la plaque foyère de la cheminée arborent tous deux des inscriptions au nom d'Etienne Terrey, notaire royal à Motey-Besuche au 18e siècle et les millésimes 1768 et 1769.

History
This modest edifice, which was the village notary's house, formed part in the first half of the 19th century of a more complex ensemble including another building body now destroyed and determining a courtyard, garden and vineyard plot.
Description
The edifice is of an irregular square plan, of reduced dimensions. It comprises a ground floor partly covered with a rib vault, with cellar and stable; and a first floor with two-room dwelling above the cellar, including one kitchen with a stone-hooded fireplace. The arch which covers the cellar entrance door, and the fireplace filler plate both display inscriptions in the name of Etienne Terrey, royal notary at Motey-Besuche in the 18th century and the dates 1768 and 1769.
