La mairie-lavoir de Cormary a été construite de 1830 à 1833 sur des plans de Pierre Duret qui était en 1830 inspecteur-voyer de l'arrondissement de Vesoul. Le chantier a été suivi par l'architecte Théodore Lebeuffe et réalisé par l'entreprise Bon de Chaux-La-Lotière.
Description
Établi au centre du village sur un terrain en pente et d'un architecture dépouillée, le bâtiment comprend un soubassement qui abrite le lavoir et qui s'ouvre en cryptoportique au sud-est par trois arcades. Au-dessus prend place la salle de la mairie. Au sud, une rampe pavée à gradins, flanquée de murs de soutènement descend vers le lavoir et l'abreuvoir qui le précède.

History
The town hall-lavoir of Cormary was constructed from 1830 to 1833 according to plans by Pierre Duret who was in 1830 inspector of roads of the arrondissement of Vesoul. The work site was supervised by the architect Théodore Lebeuffe and realised by the firm Bon of Chaux-La-Lotière.
Description
Established in the centre of the village on sloping land with plain architecture, the building comprises a basement which houses the wash house and which opens in cryptoportico to the south-east by three arcades. Above is situated the town hall room. To the south, a paved ramp with steps, flanked by retaining walls descends towards the wash house and the watering trough which precedes it.
